A MUM was senselessly stabbed to death after confronting a drunk man for talking too loudly on the phone next to her.
Fabills Felipe de Almeida, 37, had to be propped up by bystanders in the street as blood poured from her chest outside a bar in Brazil.
Shocking CCTV footage shows how her verbal altercation with the bloke before it turned deadly on March 4 in the city of Fortaleza.
The mum-of-one had just finished her shift in a local shop when she fatefully headed to meet friends for happy hour at a nearby petrol station bar.
Suspect Eberson de Oliveira, 51, was also boozing there when she arrived, according to authorities.
A row between the pair is said to have erupted after he stood next to Fabills and began talking loudly on the phone.
Chilling surveillance clips from outside of the establishment show the victim challenging a drunk Oliveria and appearing to shout in his face.
Fabills then appears to slap him while he clutches a knife in his right hand - and he plunges it into her chest in retaliation.
The mum, who miraculously remains standing on her feet, is then steadied by an onlooker while large pools of blood form on the ground.
Oliveria, who reportedly worked as a waiter in the area, can be seen in the footage backing away before fleeing.
Fabills was rushed to hospital while fighting for life but tragically passed away two days later.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security, she was killed over a "banal" discussion.
Police apprehended Oliveira in Fortaleza on March 9 after issuing a warrant for his arrest.
The victim’s heartbroken daughter, 20, paid tribute to Fabills and described her as a "fighter".
She said: "My mother was always a very calm person. The most patient person I’ve known my entire life.
"She helped everyone who needed it. I lost count of how many times she stopped eating to help others, and how many baskets she donated.
"She raised me alone, she was always a fighter. Everything my mother bought was the result of her hard work.
"She had me very young at 17. She has three siblings, all of them are in a lot of pain. The advice she always gave me was to study.
"Today I am a nursing technician. Her dream was that I become a doctor."
The investigation remains ongoing.
