 In June 2024, Jorge Guillen tragically passed away after being electrocuted in a hot tub at a resort complex located in northwest Mexico. 

His wife, 35-year-old Lizette Zambrano, suffered injuries but survived the incident. The couple was shocked by an "electric discharge" while in the jacuzzi. 


Bystanders made desperate efforts to rescue them but were thwarted by the electrical current. 


One woman was shocked when she attempted to enter the hot tub to help. 


Upon the arrival of the authorities, Guillen was found submerged underwater. 


Zambrano is now pursuing legal action against the resort, seeking $1 million in damages.
